Madalena Vellotti

Madalena Vellotti is a Barrister and Solicitor admitted to the Supreme Court of South Australia in 2012. She holds a double degree comprising a Bachelor of Laws and Legal Practice, as well as a Bachelor of Justice and Society from Flinders University. This educational foundation, combined with her extensive practical experience, equips her to provide robust legal representation. Throughout her career, Madalena has developed a broad understanding of Family Law, gained through roles in both government and private legal sectors. Her professional journey has taken her from rural South Australia to urban centres across the country, and even overseas throughout Australasia. This diverse exposure has refined her ability to manage complex legal matters effectively. Madalena is recognised for her dedication to clients, offering advocacy and negotiation underpinned by empathy, compassion, and humility. She strives to support clients in regaining confidence and a sense of empowerment during challenging times. Beyond her legal practice, Madalena is actively involved in the legal community. She is a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Council and the Women’s Lawyers Association. Her commitment to community service includes previous roles such as serving on the board of directors for AC Care in Mount Gambier, as well as participation as a Rotarian and Public Officer for Women in Business and Regional Development.
