Arnie Narayan

Arnie Narayan brings nearly 25 years of experience in corporate and commercial law, with a strong focus on advisory, transactional, and litigation matters. His practice covers a broad range of corporate and commercial issues, particularly concentrating on insolvency and reconstruction. Arnie regularly represents insolvency practitioners, lenders, directors, creditors, and other stakeholders in insolvencies, corporate recoveries, restructurings, and related litigation. Arnie’s extensive experience in restructuring equips him to provide effective early-stage solutions in a variety of transactions, enhancing his advisory capabilities. His litigation work addresses disputes including contractual disagreements, trade practices issues, defamation claims, and property settlements. His client base spans diverse industries such as aviation, agribusiness, property and construction, wine, and the public sector. Beyond his legal practice, Arnie has contributed significantly to the profession, having served as Deputy Chairman of the Australian Restructuring Insolvency & Turnaround Association (SA & NT), participated in the Banking Law Association of Australia, and been involved with the Business Law Section of the Law Council of Australia. He is a former Board Member of the Law Society of South Australia and a member of the Institute of Company Directors. Arnie also brings governance experience from serving on various private and not-for-profit company boards.
