Paul Tonkin

Paul is a highly regarded commercial and property lawyer on the Central Coast, boasting over 30 years of experience in handling significant property and commercial transactions. His extensive legal expertise covers a wide array of services, including commercial and business advice, leasing, finance, property transactions, and estate planning. He also adeptly manages hotel and motel transfers, liquor licensing, trusts, and litigation. With clients both local and international, Paul is known for providing reliable legal guidance that addresses a broad range of needs. Beyond his legal practice, Paul is an influential figure in the community, having held leadership positions such as the founding past president of the Peninsula Chamber of Commerce and various directorships in health and education sectors. Currently, he is a Director at Bluewave Living Aged Care Facility and Deputy Chairman of Employment and Training Australia Limited. Honoured as Gosford Council’s Citizen of the Year in 2015 for his public health advocacy, Paul continues to contribute as an honorary solicitor to local clubs. He began his legal career with Herbert Smith & W. B. Phillips in Sydney before joining Tonkin Drysdale Partners in 1991 and became a partner in 1992. Outside work, he enjoys family time with his wife and children, and partakes in sporting activities.
