Adam Brooks

Adam Brooks is a Partner at Thomson Geer, based in the Melbourne office, where he also serves as Office Leader. With extensive experience in corporate, commercial, and mergers and acquisitions law, Adam advises a diverse range of clients encompassing listed and private companies, both domestic and international. His expertise covers corporate advisory, M&A transactions, and competition and regulation matters. Adam is recognised for his comprehensive understanding of complex deals and offers insight from multiple perspectives, having acted for buyers and sellers, bidders and targets, funders and management teams, as well as minority shareholders and controllers. This breadth of experience enables him to provide nuanced advice tailored to the varied interests involved in transactions. Adam holds a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and a Master of Laws. He is also a Senior Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA), having completed their Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment. In addition, Adam is a 2013 graduate of the Williamson Community Leadership Program through Leadership Victoria. His combined legal and financial qualifications support his ability to advise clients on complex corporate matters effectively.
