Rhys Mitchell

Rhys Mitchell is a partner at Terracon Legal with extensive experience in a variety of commercial and property law matters. His practice encompasses commercial sales and acquisitions, financing arrangements, and commercial leasing across both the ACT and New South Wales. Rhys takes a pragmatic and client-focused approach, aiming to advance transactions efficiently and effectively to meet his clients’ commercial objectives. Rhys began his legal career at Trinity Law in Canberra, where he gained valuable experience working with private clients and property developers in the commercial team. Over the years, he has managed matters for a diverse client base, including multinational corporations, international entities, and government organisations. In August 2020, Rhys joined Terracon Legal and was appointed partner in January 2022. He holds a Juris Doctor with distinction and a Bachelor of Science from the University of New South Wales, as well as a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the Australian National University School of Legal Practice. Rhys is actively involved in the legal community as a member of the ACT Law Society, serving on the Young Lawyers Committee and participating as an observer on the Property Law Committee.
