Karen Luk

Karen is a client-focused and dedicated lawyer joining the TBA Law team in 2022. Karen has a strong passion for helping clients with legal issues that are meaningful and personal to them. After graduating from her Bachelor of Laws (Hons) at the Australian National University (ANU) in 2017, Karen has since worked in private practice in Estate law and as a duty lawyer in Family Violence and Personal Safety Intervention Orders. She works in Family Law, Intervention Orders and Wills & Estate law at TBA Law. Contributing and connecting with the community is at the core of Karen’s commitment to legal work. Karen is compassionate when listening to the difficult circumstances of her clients and takes the time to ensure her clients understand the legal process and advice given. She takes a detailed approach to her legal work and gives your documents the care and attention they require to take the stress off you! Karen shares her effervescent positive spirit with colleagues in the office and is resilient in the face of challenges. Even though she has only recently called country Victoria home, she can’t imagine living without the seeing the changing colours of paddocks and fruit orchards on her way to work. On the weekend, Karen is pottering around her home garden and taking her time browsing local markets for something new to grow or cook. Karen likes to think she takes the same generosity and determination to her legal work as she does to her love for cooking. Someday in the (near) future, she hopes to visit Julia Child’s kitchen at the Smithsonian and see the Big Apple!
