Jade Hopper

Jade Hopper is Special Counsel at Taylor Legal, bringing a wealth of family law experience to the Bellarine Peninsula and Surf Coast community. After relocating to Victoria with her husband and two young daughters, Jade has become a senior member of the family law team, dedicated to assisting clients through complex and sensitive matters. Jade’s career journey is distinctive. She began as a professional tennis player on the international women’s circuit before transitioning into law. She served as in-house Legal Counsel for a European holding company, where she managed cross-border disputes and business negotiations. Upon returning to Australia, Jade practised litigation at a Melbourne firm, achieving Partnership in 2020. Her family law expertise covers a broad spectrum, including divorce, financial separation, spousal maintenance, parenting arrangements, child support, during-relationship agreements (such as pre-nuptial agreements), and family violence intervention orders. Having lived in America and Europe for over ten years, Jade brings a global outlook and a strategic, problem-solving approach to her work. With a foundation in business and commercial litigation, Jade aims to secure practical and commercial resolutions for her clients.
