Kristy Fuge is the principal at Taussig Cherrie Fildes Lawyers and renowned for her expertise in handling complex, high-net-worth property disputes within family law, often involving intricate corporate and trust structures. Starting her career as an articled clerk, Kristy quickly advanced her skills, notably as Deputy Associate to Federal Magistrate Keith Wilson of the Federal Magistrates Court of Australia. Admitted to practice in 2006, she gained substantial experience across leading family law firms in Brisbane and Melbourne, culminating in her appointments as special counsel in 2019 and principal in 2020. Kristy’s breadth of knowledge covers financial agreements, complex financial and parenting matters, domestic and international relocations, and a variety of court orders and reliefs. Her skills extend to mediations and court appearances, including successfully defending an appeal in the High Court.
