Liana, a proud Warrnambool native, completed her secondary education at Emmanuel College in 2011 and embarked on her academic pursuit of a double degree in Arts and Law, majoring in Criminology, at Deakin University's Warrnambool Campus in 2012. Balancing her studies with full-time roles as an Assistant and Law Clerk, she graduated in October 2017 and quickly proceeded to complete her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the College of Law. By December 2017, Liana was admitted as an Australian Lawyer, bringing her practical experience to Taits Legal, where she had already been contributing since May 2017. Her dedication and personalised approach to client service have earned her a reputation for excellence in various legal domains, leading to her historic appointment as the first female Partner at Taits Legal in over 150 years on 1 July 2024. Liana's legal expertise spans property law, encompassing conveyancing, property development, and adverse possession claims, as well as commercial law, where she adeptly handles business sales, leasing, and partnership agreements. Her comprehensive practice also covers business structuring, asset protection, and succession planning, alongside the establishment of companies and trusts, ensuring her clients receive holistic and responsive legal solutions tailored to their unique circumstances.
