Rebecca Tesic has been practising as a solicitor since 2003, bringing extensive experience across a broad spectrum of legal matters for individuals, businesses, and commercial clients. She is well-versed in navigating complex business transactions to achieve practical and commercially sound outcomes. Joining Symons Phillips in 2010, Rebecca collaborated closely with former partner Nick Symons to expand the firm's property and commercial practice, with a focus on commercial leasing. In early 2012, she became a partner alongside Mark Phillips, continuing to grow the firm’s presence in this area. With a family background in property, Rebecca possesses a strong understanding of the practical considerations involved in property and business transactions. She regularly advises both landlords and tenants on all aspects of commercial leasing, as well as handling commercial property conveyancing. Her practice also encompasses commercial transactions related to the sale of shares, businesses, franchises, and associated matters. Rebecca provides tailored advice to real estate agencies on matters including business sales, acquisition and disposal of rent rolls, and general commercial concerns. She maintains strong ties with the local business community, supporting her pragmatic approach to legal service. Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Canberra. She completed her Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the Australian National University and was admitted to practice by the ACT Supreme Court and the High Court of Australia.
