Gene Sykes Bidstrup

Gene Sykes Bidstrup completed his Bachelor of Laws at Flinders University and the University of Western Australia between 2007 and 2011. Throughout his studies, he gained practical experience by working in legal practice, before commencing full-time work in 2012. Gene has developed a broad practice encompassing civil litigation, including defamation, business and commercial disputes, as well as aspects of criminal law. He has collaborated closely with senior counsel on several cases that extended to lengthy trials, where his thorough preparation has been instrumental to favourable outcomes. Alongside his legal career, Gene has served as a director for an international educational group, providing both legal and governance advice to the board.
