About Judica
Judica Swift is a seasoned solicitor with a career initiated on the Gold Coast in a boutique insolvency firm. Admitted as a solicitor in New South Wales in 1998, and subsequently in Queensland, she embraced the legal profession with a commitment to service and understanding. Her professional journey took a pivotal turn in 2005 following a personal family experience that inspired her to focus on elderly care and legal support services. Judica’s personal encounter with navigating seniors' accommodation for her ailing parents enlightened her to the complexities and emotional challenges associated with elder care transitions. This experience fuelled her passion and dedication to assist others in similar situations. Consequently, Judica joined the Seniors Legal and Support Service in Hervey Bay, where she utilised her legal expertise to counsel solicitors, general practitioners, and health care providers on critical issues impacting the elderly. Her involvement extended to shaping policies at the governmental level, attending Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal (QCAT) hearings, and leading public education initiatives on elder abuse, decision-making capacity, and enduring powers of attorney. After dedicating over five years to public service, Judica returned to private practice, driven by a desire to broaden the scope of her assistance. She is a proponent of straightforward legal solutions, rejecting the conventional trappings of opulent offices and per-minute billing. This philosophy underpins her practice ethos at Swift Legal Solutions, where she is committed to providing approachable and effective legal advice, no matter the magnitude of the issue. Judica is always ready to offer her legal insight, ensuring her clients navigate life's challenges with clarity and confidence.
