Stephen John

Stephen John is the founding solicitor of Stephen John Lawyers, bringing extensive experience in migration law. He has successfully represented clients before various Australian authorities and courts, including the Department of Home Affairs, Administrative Appeals Tribunal, Federal Circuit Court, Federal Court, and the High Court of Australia. Stephen completed a Bachelor of Arts in 2001 and a Bachelor of Laws in 2004 at the University of Punjab, Pakistan. He further obtained a Master of Political Science from the same university in 2006. After relocating to Australia, Stephen enhanced his legal qualifications with a Postgraduate Diploma of Law from the University of Sydney in 2010 and a Juris Doctor from the University of Technology Sydney in 2013. His legal career began with admission to the Punjab Bar Council as an advocate in 2006, followed by admission to the Gujranwala District Bar Association in 2007. In Australia, Stephen was admitted to practice as a legal practitioner in New South Wales in 2014, became a registered Migration Agent in 2015, and was admitted to the High Court of Australia as a solicitor in 2017.
