Dicky Abraham

Dicky Abraham is the Principal Lawyer and founder of Spurling Legal, a firm established with a commitment to providing accessible, high-quality legal representation for small to medium enterprises and professionals facing complex commercial disputes. Recognised as an Accredited Specialist in Commercial Litigation by the Law Institute of Victoria, Dicky brings a strategic, pragmatic, and commercially focused approach to his practice. Since his admission to practice in 2017, Dicky has dedicated his career to commercial dispute resolution, handling matters involving contractual claims, insolvency and regulatory issues, shareholder oppression, defamation, and insurance litigation. His work extends across state and federal courts in Victoria, New South Wales, and Western Australia. Prior to founding his firm, he gained valuable experience in senior litigation roles at both boutique and national law firms, where he was instrumental in managing significant cases through to trial and supporting high-level dispute leadership. Dicky’s approach is characterised by calmness, focus, and a steadfast commitment to achieving effective outcomes for his clients. Under his leadership, Spurling Legal employs an innovative cost model that brings greater predictability to legal fees, capping professional charges at each stage of a matter to ensure clients can pursue their claims without the traditional financial uncertainty of litigation.
