About Ben
Ben Wright is a Director with extensive experience in advising clients across a diverse range of legal matters. Raised in Rockhampton, Ben completed his secondary education at Rockhampton Grammar School before pursuing law studies at Queensland University of Technology, where he resided at St John’s College, St Lucia. Following his law degree, Ben gained international experience working with Ernst & Young in Poland and later in London as a national sales manager for an IT reseller. In 2003, Ben joined the firm and completed his Articles of Clerkship, leading to his admission as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2005. He further enhanced his legal expertise by obtaining a Graduate Diploma in Advanced Taxation from the University of New South Wales in 2010. Ben provides practical and timely legal advice to a broad client base, including businesses, rural enterprises, private individuals, not-for-profit organisations, and statutory bodies. His practice covers business law, property transactions, wills and estates, compensation matters, as well as litigation and court disputes. His particular areas of focus include trusts and structuring, estate planning, property sales and purchases across commercial, rural, residential, industrial, and retail sectors, as well as acting in the sale and acquisition of businesses and companies. Ben also has experience handling matters related to motor accident insurance and personal injury claims. An active member of the Queensland Law Society, Ben is also engaged with the Central Queensland Law Association, where he has served as President and Treasurer. Outside of his professional commitments, Ben enjoys keeping fit, snow skiing, and watching cricket with his family.
