Amanda Sommerville

Amanda Sommerville is the Legal Practice Director, bringing over fifteen years of experience in providing legal advice and representation to clients in Bunbury and the South West. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with First Class Honours, awarded in 2010, and was admitted as a barrister and solicitor to the Supreme Court of Western Australia in 2012, as well as to the High Court of Australia. Amanda completed her legal practice management training through the College of Law in 2019 and undertook her articled clerkship at Leo Cussons in 2011. Throughout her academic career, Amanda received several distinguished awards, including the Supreme Court prize for the top graduating Bachelor of Laws student, recognition on the Dean's Merit List, and honours for excellence in intellectual property, contract law, and economic torts. She has been a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society since 2009. Amanda actively contributes to the legal community as a member of the Law Society of Western Australia, including its Country Practitioners Committee, the Women's Lawyers of WA, the South West Law Society of WA, the Law Council of Australia's Family Law Section, and the Family Law Practitioners Association of WA. Beyond her legal commitments, she has served on the Manea Senior College Board, including a term as Chair.
