Janine Daher

Janine is a Principal at Sexton Family Law with extensive experience in family law since joining the firm in 2013. She is committed to providing clients with clear, practical advice and works closely with them to develop strategic plans tailored to their individual circumstances. Janine advises on a broad spectrum of family law matters, including property settlements, complex parenting issues, child support, spousal and adult child maintenance, injunctions, restraining orders, financial agreements, and divorce applications. Before her legal career, Janine gained valuable skills in negotiation and client communication through her roles managing the offices of both a Federal and a State Member of Parliament. These skills enhance her ability to navigate the complexities of family law, particularly in matters involving intricate property structures, third-party involvement, and cross-jurisdictional assets. Janine’s family law experience encompasses property settlement and litigation, including cases with multiple entities and overseas assets, as well as challenging parenting disputes such as relocation cases. She also represents clients in proceedings before the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia. Janine was admitted to practice in February 2014 and continues to provide dedicated support to clients facing a range of family law challenges.
