Shannon Hubert

Shannon is a dedicated legal professional focusing exclusively on Family Law since her admission in November 2022. She embarked on her legal journey at a national commercial law firm, where she gained valuable experience within its Family Law team before joining Sayer Jones in 2024. Throughout her career, Shannon has adeptly managed a diverse array of complex property and parenting cases, both litigious and non-litigious. Her approach to Family Law is marked by a combination of empathy and pragmatism, ensuring her clients feel both understood and well-informed about the implications of their legal matters, both presently and in the future. Shannon is well-equipped academically, having earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Politics and Criminology and a Diploma in Languages (French) from the University of Melbourne. She further honed her legal expertise with a Juris Doctor degree from Monash University. Shannon is admitted to practice law in the Supreme Court of Victoria and the High Court of Australia. Her commitment to the legal community is evidenced by her role as a co-chair for the Victorian Women Lawyers Networking Committee. In addition, she actively participates in professional organisations, being a member of both the Law Institute of Victoria and Victorian Women Lawyers. Shannon's engagement in these roles underscores her dedication to both her professional development and the advancement of women in the legal field.
