About Laura
Laura has been practising Family Law since her admission to the legal profession in 2017, bringing a wealth of knowledge and a sense of compassion to her role at Sayer Jones. Her academic background is solid, with a Bachelor of Laws, a Bachelor of Psychological Science, and a Masters of Laws with a focus on Family Law, underscoring her dedication to this field. Before joining Sayer Jones, Laura honed her skills at a boutique law firm, where she worked not only in Family Law but also in areas such as Victims of Crime Assistance and Wills and Probate. This varied experience has enriched her understanding of complex legal issues, particularly those involving Family Violence and comprehensive family disputes. Laura's dedication to Family Law is evident in her passionate advocacy for her clients, striving to provide personalised care that aligns with their specific needs. Her approach is centred on making clients feel supported throughout the often challenging separation process. In addition to her practice, Laura actively contributes to the legal community. She volunteers as the Northern Suburbs Young Law Representative and is a committed member of the Law Institute of Victoria. Laura is also involved with the Australian Chapter of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, where she contributes her insights as a part of the Legal Issues subcommittee.
