About Lucy

Lucy has practised exclusively in Family Law for over 30 years, bringing extensive experience in both litigation and mediation. Her practice encompasses a broad range of family law matters, including marital and de facto property disputes, preparation of Binding Financial Agreements such as pre-nuptial and cohabitation agreements, as well as issues relating to children, spousal maintenance, child support, and personal protection orders related to domestic violence. Before joining Saunders Family & Estate Lawyers, Lucy was a partner at Ryan Carlisle Thomas in Melbourne, where she led the Family Law department for over two decades. During her career, she served on the Family Law Institute Committee, contributing to the successful advocacy for government recognition and funding of Children’s Contact Centres across Australia. These centres provide safe, neutral environments for supervised contact between parents and children. Lucy is committed to delivering clear, accessible legal advice that enables clients to make informed decisions about their future. She understands the challenges clients face during family law proceedings and aims to support them throughout the process, helping them achieve outcomes aligned with their needs.
