Laura Buchanan is a senior family lawyer with a diverse background that enriches her legal practice. Before becoming a lawyer, Laura worked in non-profit housing, where she focused on protecting vulnerable individuals, and gained valuable experience in residential and commercial real estate as a real estate agent. This broad range of experience enables her to appreciate the practical realities her clients face during family law matters. Laura is known for her strong skills in dispute resolution and negotiation, particularly in helping clients find practical solutions to post-separation challenges. She studied law part-time while working full-time as a real estate agent, demonstrating her dedication and strong work ethic. She was admitted as a solicitor to the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2020 and the High Court of Australia in 2021.
