Kathryn McLoughlin is a Senior Associate and Independent Children’s Lawyer with comprehensive experience across Family Law. Kathryn also dedicates part of her career to Child Protection matters, working closely with the Department of Children, Youth Justice and Multicultural Affairs to advocate for parents and grandparents and support efforts to reunify families where possible. Kathryn holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Business (with Distinction) from Queensland University of Technology. She was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2017 and the High Court of Australia in 2018. Her legal expertise is further supported by her Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice and accreditation as a Domestic Violence Duty Lawyer. Active in the legal community, Kathryn is a member of the Family Law Practitioners Association and the Pacifica Congress. She is also a Collaborative Lawyer and works as a Parenting Coordinator.
