Nathan Hous

Nathan Hous brings extensive experience across a broad range of legal areas, including criminal defence, civil litigation, commercial matters, and administrative law. He has a proven track record leading high-stakes litigation and managing complex negotiations both within Australia and internationally. Holding a Juris Doctor degree along with academic qualifications in finance and economics, Nathan began his career as a diplomat and Premier’s representative in China. His outstanding performance in commercial negotiations was recognised with the NSW Premier’s Award in 2015. Since then, Nathan has been at the forefront of significant legal and business transactions valued in the billions of dollars. He has established and grown a successful litigation practice and held senior legal roles, including managing the legal aspects of the $7 billion Northern Australia Infrastructure Facility. Nathan is known for his persuasive negotiation skills and strong advocacy, consistently delivering favourable outcomes in matters related to civil liability, contract law, corporations law, family law, and building disputes. His international experience and deep understanding of the interaction between legal and commercial considerations at senior levels of government and industry provide valuable insight and guidance to clients.
