About Brett
Brett Saal is the Principal of Saal & Associates Lawyers in Brisbane. He holds a Bachelor of Laws from Queensland University of Technology and was admitted as a solicitor in 2003. Brett began his legal career undertaking a five-year articles of clerkship starting in 1998, initially with Kenny and Partners in Gladstone and later with Creswick Saal Lawyers in Brisbane. Prior to entering the legal profession, Brett was a qualified electrician, an experience that provides him with practical insight into the construction and building industry. Brett is committed to identifying key issues promptly and developing appropriate strategies aimed at achieving favourable outcomes, with a strong awareness of managing legal costs throughout the process. He is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia. Brett’s legal services cover contractual advice at all stages, commercial litigation including breach of contract and professional negligence, pre-litigation advice with a focus on construction law, matters related to subcontractors’ charges under the Subcontractors Charges Act 1974, representation in building disputes across the Supreme, District and Magistrates Courts as well as the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal, and corporate insolvency and personal bankruptcy advice.
