Emina Hidic

Emina Hidic is an Associate Family Lawyer at Romer Maud, joining the firm in 2024. Since beginning her legal journey in 2019, Emina has been devoted to assisting clients with separation matters, including parenting arrangements, property settlements, and mediation. Her passion for social justice is reflected in her empathetic and emotionally intelligent approach to family law. Emina focuses on understanding each client's unique circumstances, adhering to Romer Maud's philosophy of holistic client care to empower clients and facilitate resilience. A first-generation Australian, Emina's family immigrated from the former Yugoslavia. She earned a double degree in Arts and Law from Monash University, specialising in Australian Indigenous Studies and Criminology. Completing her Practical Legal Training at Leo Cussen, she has built a diverse career across private practice, Legal Aid, and family violence matters. Outside work, she is a keen bird enthusiast with a pet bird, Fig, and enjoys creative pursuits such as collecting marine life-themed salt and pepper shakers and writing short stories. Emina's diverse talents and commitment to her clients make her an invaluable member of the Romer Maud team.
