Growing up on a family farm in Bagshot, Janelle’s affinity for challenges was evident early on. Her academic journey led her from White Hills Tech to Bendigo Senior, where her fascination with the Sciences spurred her to study maths, physics, and chemistry at Monash University. Although the analytical approach of Science was appealing, it was in Law that Janelle found her true calling—a pursuit that married intellectual rigor with practical impact. Janelle began her legal career in Horsham, spending a decade immersed in Family and Criminal Law. The experience instilled in her a profound understanding of the diverse legal landscape and honed her abilities to navigate complex legal matters with precision. In 2004, Janelle returned to Bendigo and joined Robertson Hyetts, shifting her focus to Property and Development and Commercial Law. Her leadership qualities and strategic foresight saw her elevated to the position of Director in 2009. Central to Janelle’s practice is her philosophy of building trusting relationships with clients.
