Tony Roberts

Tony Roberts serves as Special Counsel, bringing extensive experience that spans both legal practice and business management. Tony began his legal career in 1969 and quickly progressed to partnership at Morris Fletcher and Cross, now known as Minter Ellison, where he worked for 19 years. Following this, he took on the role of joint Managing Director of a large private company, combining his legal insight with executive leadership. After several years in management, Tony returned to legal practice for an additional five years before dedicating around 25 years to his own business ventures, primarily within the retirement village sector. Throughout his legal career, Tony has worked extensively in areas including succession law, taxation, and corporate law, with particular involvement in media law and the sugar industry. His unique blend of legal expertise and practical business experience allows Tony to provide clients with informed, strategic advice tailored to their individual needs. As the brother of the firm’s Principal, Philip Roberts, Tony is a valued member of the team, committed to supporting clients across a range of legal and commercial matters.
