Tim Rivett

Tim is the Partner and Director at RHR, bringing over 20 years of experience in the legal profession. He began his career at a prominent commercial law firm in Brisbane, gaining solid foundations in legal practice. However, his desire to contribute meaningfully to a close-knit community led him and his wife Catherine to relocate their family to Central Queensland. Tim’s time working in-house at Rockhampton Regional Council broadened his understanding of both practical and advisory legal work. It was during this period that he met Robert Harris, a well-respected lawyer in Yeppoon. Their shared values and professional respect blossomed into a partnership. In 2013, Tim and Catherine took the significant step of purchasing Robert’s firm upon his retirement, continuing the legacy at Robert Harris Rivett Lawyers. Committed to making a positive impact, Tim focuses on delivering legal solutions that genuinely support the lives and businesses of his clients. He values working alongside a team of dedicated and knowledgeable colleagues who share a deep commitment to their clients.
