Richard Harvey

Richard Harvey is the Principal Solicitor bringing extensive experience in property law to his practice. He has held the role of President of the Law Society of New South Wales, serving in 2020, and has been influential as Chair of the Property Law Committee of the Society. Between 2016 and 2021, Richard chaired the Law Society of New South Wales Specialist Accreditation Board, overseeing the standards for legal professionals in the state. His commitment to governance and professional development is also reflected in his tenure as a Councillor and Director of the New South Wales Law Society from 2010 to 2021, and as a Director of Lawcover Insurance Pty Limited from 2015 to 2021. Beyond the legal arena, Richard applies his leadership skills as Chair of The Appeals Committee for the New South Wales Suburban Rugby Union, and as President and Patron of the Petersham Rugby Club.
