Dylan Maurice

Dylan Maurice is a Solicitor and Barrister who joined Rebus Legal in February 2019, initially completing his Practical Legal Training. Since then, he has developed a broad range of experience across several areas of law, including civil, family, criminal, and migration law. Dylan holds a Bachelor of Laws with Distinction from Murdoch University, graduating in 2018. Prior to pursuing law, he earned a Bachelor of Commerce from Curtin University, majoring in Accounting and Finance, providing him with a well-rounded background. He has a strong interest in employment law, sparked during work experience with a nationwide union in 2018. This exposure allowed him to engage with various employment matters and understand how legal frameworks can assist employees in situations where there is an imbalance of bargaining power, or where achieving fair treatment is essential. Beyond employment matters, Dylan is committed to assisting clients in civil, criminal, and family law. Throughout his time at Rebus Legal, he has gained valuable insight and practical experience across these fields. Dylan approaches legal issues with a problem-solving mindset and careful attention to detail, exploring multiple strategies and considering all options to find the best outcome. His motivation in practising law stems from a desire to help people navigate complex challenges while working on matters that require dedication and intellectual rigour.
