Johan Engelbrecht

Johan Engelbrecht is the Managing Director with over 30 years of experience in the legal profession, first admitted as a lawyer in 1991. He has developed extensive expertise in Property Law, encompassing Residential, Commercial and Business Law matters. Johan’s career includes running his own practice, serving as Head of Conveyancing and Property Law at a Canberra firm, and acting as Branch Manager of a law firm in Buderim. He has broad experience in Commercial and Business Law, Retail and Commercial Leasing and Sales, as well as the sales and purchases of businesses. Johan is also well versed in Residential Conveyancing, including electronic conveyancing through PEXA. Johan holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws (BComm LLB), is a member of both the Sunshine Coast Law Association and the Queensland Law Society, and is a Notary Public accredited in South Africa. In recognition of his professional contributions, he was nominated as one of three candidates for Property Lawyer of the Year at the ACT REI Awards in 2018.
