Con Plastiras is the founder and Principal of Plastiras Lawyers, where he leads the Business, Property and Estate Planning teams. Since establishing the firm in 1999, Con has grown it organically to serve a diverse client base, drawing on nearly 30 years of experience in the legal profession. Con's practice encompasses property law, business law, and estate planning, offering strategic advice tailored to small and medium enterprises, business owners, and high net worth individuals. His work includes advising on business and property sales and acquisitions, franchising arrangements, business structuring, succession planning, and addressing a broad range of legal matters encountered by businesses. Among his key clients are a prominent landlord with retail and commercial properties across Australia, a nationwide market wholesaler, and an aged care provider with facilities in Queensland and New South Wales. His property law expertise covers advisory work and large-scale transaction matters involving property development sites, retail shopping centres, commercial precincts, as well as retail and commercial leasing arrangements. Con has a particular focus on health professionals and health organisations, providing guidance in the sale and purchase of health businesses, complex estate planning and asset protection strategies, commercial property transactions, and ongoing advisory services to these clients. In addition to his practice, Con has contributed to legal education since 1999 by lecturing in the Estate Planning subject for the Master of Laws course at Queensland University of Technology.
