About Peter
Peter G. Williams is the principal lawyer and founder of PGW Solicitors, bringing over 36 years of continuous legal experience in Brisbane and its surrounding regions. Raised in North Queensland and educated in Brisbane, Peter has maintained strong local connections and is actively involved in numerous community and business associations, including the Family Law Practitioners’ Association, the Queensland Society of Notaries Inc., and the Brisbane Southside Chamber of Commerce, where he serves as a sponsor and committee member. Peter’s commitment to community service is reflected in his participation on various executive committees, such as the Brisbane Junior Chamber of Commerce and local branches of the Liberal Party of Australia. Additionally, he holds a Practice Management Certificate from the Queensland Law Society, achieved with merit. Peter’s broad legal practice covers family law, business contracts, commercial leases, deceased estate administration and litigation, as well as civil and commercial litigation. He is dedicated to pursuing justice for his clients and protecting the rights of individuals, with a particular interest in assisting small to large business owners in navigating legal complexities to achieve a competitive advantage. In addition to his legal work, Peter contributes to the community through educational initiatives, recently providing valuable estate planning information to seniors in collaboration with Anglicare and local church leaders. Outside the practice of law, Peter enjoys swimming, Latin dancing, politics, reading, languages and culture, history, music, psychology, supporting the Queensland Reds, travel, and theatre.
