Shannon Pennicott

Shannon Pennicott is a highly experienced lawyer with extensive expertise across a broad range of legal areas. She provides clients with trusted advice, skilled negotiation, and strong representation in litigation matters. Shannon’s practice commonly includes Family Law, Child Protection, Wills and Estates, Personal Injury, and Child Historical Sexual Assault compensation claims. Shannon holds a Bachelor of Arts (Political Science) and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Tasmania and completed her graduate diploma in legal practice at the Australian National University. Since beginning her legal career in 2003 with various branches of the ACT Government, Shannon has developed a deep understanding of public and private sector legal processes. She then moved to Wagga Wagga, where she worked as a Care and Protection Specialist before advancing to a senior litigation solicitor role in private practice. Renowned for her strong advocacy and approachable manner, Shannon is known for meeting her clients’ legal needs with diligence and professionalism. She has cultivated an excellent network of barristers for complex court matters across civil and criminal jurisdictions, ensuring thorough preparation and expert representation.
