Robert Bounassif was admitted as a solicitor in 2002 after completing a combined Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws degree. He leads the firm’s Property, Business Structuring and Transactions Practice. Robert has extensive experience acting for property developers throughout the full development project lifecycle. He provides expert advice from acquisition stages through rezoning, planning, environmental considerations, and the delivery phase, right through to successful completion and sales. His understanding of financier requirements ensures that development projects remain viable and aligned with funding obligations. He regularly advises on risk allocation and various delivery methods, demonstrating a strong ability to prepare and negotiate a wide range of documentation. This includes tender documents, heads of agreement, memoranda of understanding, agreements for lease, development agreements, consultancy agreements, as well as planning and strata-related instruments.
