Lauren Emblem

Lauren Emblem is a Senior Solicitor with O'Brien & Smith Lawyers, known for her dedication to achieving optimal outcomes for her clients. Born and raised in Sydney, Lauren embarked on her legal journey in 2013 at the University of Notre Dame Australia, where she completed her Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts. After relocating to the Mallee in 2017, she joined the firm the following year, fully embracing the community spirit and lifestyle of Birchip. Lauren has a strong focus on family law, reinforced by a Master of Applied Law from The College of Law Australia, alongside her practice in criminal law and estate planning. Her commitment to her field is evident in her active participation as a Young Lawyers Representative with the Wimmera Law Association and her volunteer work with the Birchip SES Unit since 2018. Admitted to practice in the High Court of Australia and the Supreme Court of Victoria, Lauren combines her legal expertise with a personal passion for animals, often spending her free time with her cats, German Shepherds, and various animals on her parents' property.
