About Dayoon
Dayoon Lah was admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in December 2009. She holds a combined Commerce and Law degree, majoring in accounting, from the University of New South Wales. Early in her career, Dayoon completed a clerkship as a Tax Analyst at a leading accounting firm and gained practical experience practising general commercial and corporate law at a boutique Sydney law firm. Fluent in Korean, Dayoon brings valuable insight into the business development needs of the Korean market and the pathways available for skilled workers seeking to immigrate to Australia. Her bilingual skills and experience working within major research and development industries and global networks enhance her understanding of international trade, particularly as it relates to Australia’s key economic sectors such as telecommunications, mining, defence, energy, rail, and manufacturing. In her role with Newstars Education and Migration Group, Dayoon provides clear and practical legal advice across a broad range of immigration matters. She also contributes regularly to client engagement forums, helping to clarify Australia’s complex immigration regulations through carefully crafted content. Outside of her professional commitments, Dayoon enjoys practising yoga, hiking, and spending quality time with her family on holidays.
