Gavin Scott, a partner at Norton Rose Fulbright, is recognised as a leading expert in native title and Aboriginal cultural heritage law across Australia. With a profound commitment to guiding major projects, Gavin has successfully counselled on Traditional Owner agreements for diverse sectors, including renewables, infrastructure, mining, oil & gas, and real estate. Gavin's legal journey began with his Bachelor of Business from the University of Southern Queensland in 1992, followed by a Bachelor of Law from Queensland University of Technology in 1994. He further honed his expertise with a Masters in Environmental Resources Law from the same institution in 2000. His career includes a notable tenure at Ashurst before joining Norton Rose Fulbright in 2018.
