Richard Frazer

Richard Frazer is the Principal of the firm, bringing a wealth of experience since returning to Tamworth in 1983. He began his career working as a solicitor in Sydney before joining Newman & Pengilley, where he became a partner in 1989 and has led the firm as sole Principal since 1996. Richard holds a Bachelor of Arts, with a major in Pure Mathematics, and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of New South Wales. Richard’s commitment to the local community extends beyond his legal practice. He has been actively involved with the Rotary Club of Tamworth Sunrise since its founding in 2009 and devoted over 20 years to coaching the Oxley High School Mock Trial Team, guiding them to a state championship in 2007. Outside of work, Richard enjoys family life, supporting the Manly Sea Eagles, and participating in musical theatre, having performed in more than 20 productions with the Tamworth Musical Society.
