Peter Glare

Peter Glare is an accomplished Barrister and Solicitor with over 33 years of legal practice, currently serving as a key figure at Nevett Wilkinson Frawley following the amalgamation of his previous firm, Peter S. Glare & Associates, on 1st July 2012. Admitted to practice on 1st April 1982, Peter’s career has been marked by a profound commitment to the Liquor and Hospitality Industry. His vast experience spans more than three decades, during which he has provided comprehensive legal guidance to a range of clients, from hotels and restaurants to motels, particularly in the realms of business sales and acquisitions. Peter embarked on his legal journey at Hall & Thompson, where he spent four formative years as an Articled Clerk, and continued to hone his expertise in liquor licensing even as the firm transitioned to Maurice Blackburn & Co. In 1993, demonstrating entrepreneurial spirit, he acquired the Beaufort Branch of Maurice Blackburn and managed it independently until 2012. In addition to his deep-seated involvement in liquor licensing, Peter has also developed a significant practice in franchise law. He has been instrumental in the establishment of Community Banks through Bendigo Bank and has adeptly represented franchise owners from notable brands including Subway, Baker's Delight, and Wendy’s.
