Stuart Wilson

Stuart is an Accredited Specialist in Commercial Law. He holds a Master of Laws from the Queensland University of Technology, along with Bachelor degrees in Laws and Arts from the University of Queensland. He also completed a Graduate Certificate in Project Management at the University of South Australia. His practice mainly encompasses: * Commercial and business transactions and agreements, including asset acquisitions and disposals, partnerships, joint ventures, and related business and property dealings. * Corporate transactions such as share issuances, transfers, and buybacks. * Corporate governance, including board processes and directors’ duties. * Property development advisory work. * Leasing matters. * Guidance on finance and funding arrangements. He is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria, a Certificated Member of the Governance Institute of Australia, and belongs to the Association of Corporate Counsel, the Victorian Planning and Environmental Law Association, and the Applied Property Development Institute. Admitted as a solicitor in January 2000, Stuart developed wide-ranging experience across property, business, corporate, and finance matters while working alongside several accredited specialists in private practice. He later moved into an in-house role as legal counsel and board adviser for a financial and property investment company. In that capacity, he also acted as Development Manager for numerous property projects, contributed to executive strategy, and served as Company Secretary. Stuart is formally recognised as an Accredited Specialist in Commercial Law. Outside work, Stuart is an avid traveler and enjoys reading, golfing, and sailing in his spare time.
