Ryan Curtis-Griffiths is a Director leading the firm’s National Migration Law Group, bringing extensive experience across the full spectrum of Australian migration law and policy. He advises both Australian and international corporations on the complexities of sponsoring skilled personnel, offering strategic guidance to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to employing overseas workers. Ryan’s practice encompasses a broad range of visa categories and migration matters. He represents individuals in all types of Australian visa applications, migration law appeals before the Federal Courts and the Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT), as well as Ministerial Intervention cases. His areas of expertise include employer-sponsored temporary and permanent residence visas, including On-hire Labour Agreements and Enterprise Migration Agreements; global mobility services; judicial review and appeals; family visas encompassing partner, parent, child, and adoption applications; general skilled migration; as well as visas for entertainment, distinguished talent, medical treatment, and sport. He also advises clients on visa cancellations, Ministerial submissions, and Australian citizenship applications. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Laws, a Bachelor of Arts in History, and a Master of Arts in International Relations with a focus on Human Rights, International Law, and Conflict & Security, all from Deakin University. He is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria and the Migration Institute of Australia.
