Robert Yen

Robert Yen is a Senior Associate at Navado Lawyers with over five years of experience in general legal practice, encompassing both advisory and litigation work. He provides legal advice and representation in matters before the New South Wales Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT), as well as in State and Federal Courts across New South Wales. Robert has a strong background in property law, advising on residential and commercial leasing, contracts, and strata law issues including motions and by-laws. He also handles contested matters related to strata law, residential tenancies, road traffic infringements, and discrimination law. Prior to joining Navado, Robert spent over three years at a Community Legal Centre, where he worked on a wide range of legal issues such as debt recovery, insurance, employment law, domestic violence including Apprehended Domestic Violence Order (ADVO) matters, consumer claims, and general property disputes. With a genuine interest in dispute resolution, Robert supports clients in achieving their objectives through a variety of disputes and litigation matters. At Navado, he works closely with Peter to manage bankruptcy and debt disputes, family law issues including parenting and property settlements, insurance claims, discrimination and education law matters, contractual disputes, misleading and deceptive conduct claims, negligence, and consumer law cases. Robert also plays a key role in handling complex matters, coordinating with Counsel, and preparing court documents.
