Anita Harricharan

Anita Harricharan is an experienced lawyer based in the Tuggerah office, bringing over 17 years of legal practice to her role. Raised on the Central Coast, Anita completed her secondary education at Central Coast Grammar School in Erina before undertaking tertiary studies at the University of Newcastle, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in 1997 and subsequently a Bachelor of Laws with a Diploma of Legal Practice in 1999. She joined Nash Allen Williams & Wotton as a solicitor in 2000 and has since developed a reputation among colleagues for her patient, calm, and thorough approach, combined with attentive listening skills. Anita’s legal expertise spans a broad range of areas including wills and estate planning, appointments of Enduring Powers of Attorney and Enduring Guardians, residential and commercial conveyancing, retail and commercial leasing, business sales and acquisitions, commercial law, administration of deceased estates, as well as Succession Act claims involving contested wills and estates. In her conveyancing work, Anita regularly advises on property transactions, reviewing contracts, mortgage documentation, leases, and retirement village agreements. She ensures vendor compliance with statutory and contractual obligations, coordinates pre-purchase property inspections and government authority enquiries, and manages settlement processes in collaboration with financial institutions and other legal representatives. Within estate law, Anita supports families through probate applications and asset distribution, while drafting tailored legal documents that meet the unique needs of each client’s circumstances. Known for delivering clear and considered advice in areas that are often sensitive and emotional, Anita combines her substantive legal knowledge with a practical understanding of the issues her clients face.
