Jaskirat Singh

Jaskirat Singh brings a rich blend of personal experience and professional dedication to his work in migration law and citizenship. Arriving in Australia in 2006 as an international student from India, Jaskirat’s multicultural background and proficiency in English, Punjabi, and Hindi enable him to communicate effectively with clients from a variety of cultural backgrounds. Having personally navigated the complexities of the Australian legal system, Jaskirat developed a deep understanding of the challenges faced by many individuals trying to access legal support. This insight has fuelled his commitment to guiding clients through their migration matters with clarity and empathy. Before his admission as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of South Australia, Jaskirat spent over ten years supporting vulnerable young people experiencing homelessness, domestic violence, and mental health challenges. This experience strengthens his compassionate approach to legal practice. Jaskirat holds a Bachelor of Laws and Legal Practice and a Bachelor of Government and Public Management from Flinders University. He also completed a Graduate Diploma in Australian Migration Law at Western Sydney University, alongside qualifications in community sector management and services. Outside of work, he values self-reflection and aims to contribute positively to society, step by step.
