Marie-Therese Sahade

Marie-Therese Sahade was admitted as a legal practitioner of the Supreme Court of New South Wales on 19 February 1999, with her admission moved by her brother, Marcel Sahade, a Sydney barrister. Since 9 March 1999, she has also been authorised to practise in the High Court of Australia and all Federal Courts of Australia. Over the years, Marie-Therese gained extensive experience working with various law firms throughout New South Wales, where she provided legal assistance to a diverse range of clients. In February 2013, Marie-Therese established her own practice, Moresheen Legal, located in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. She holds an unrestricted principal practising certificate with the Law Society of New South Wales, allowing her to serve clients independently and with full authority. Marie-Therese’s practice covers a broad spectrum of legal matters. She frequently assists clients with personal injury claims, including motor accident compensation, public liability, slips and falls, medical negligence, dust disease and asbestos-related claims, and other negligence-related personal injury matters, often on a no win no fee basis. Her work also extends to superannuation claims relating to total and permanent disability, compensation law, industrial deafness, and civil disputes and litigation. In addition, she provides representation in court and offers legal services in family law such as divorce, as well as criminal law matters. Marie-Therese handles contested wills, commercial law issues, debt recovery, and prepares essential legal documents including powers of attorney, wills, enduring guardianships, and probate matters. Her broad experience ensures comprehensive legal support tailored to her clients’ needs.
