Dominic has been practising property law since 1992, bringing extensive experience across all facets of property transactions including acquisitions, financing, development, construction, sales, and leasing. His comprehensive knowledge covers a broad spectrum of real estate matters, such as large-scale property transactions, complex joint ventures, property subdivisions, and the intricacies of strata, community, and neighbourhood title law. He also handles residential purchases and sales, as well as retail and commercial leasing arrangements. In addition to his property law work, Dominic is an experienced Public Notary, authorised since 2002 to witness the execution of documents internationally and to facilitate the necessary legalisation processes for documents intended for use in countries worldwide. Recent notable examples of Dominic’s work include advising a major developer on the AU$209 million sale of a development site in Chatswood, managing sales of development sites exceeding AU$50 million, and handling off the plan sales for greenfield subdivisions and luxury apartments in various parts of Sydney. He has also supported acquisitions involving multiple strata titles to consolidate development sites, as well as industrial land purchases with environmental and planning complexities. In terms of development projects, Dominic has advised on joint venture arrangements involving mixed-use strata developments, titling for large-scale aged care facilities, and collaborations between landowners and developers to facilitate new strata projects. His leasing experience includes negotiating complex agreements for lease with high-profile tenants such as Harris Farm Markets, Woolworths, KFC, and McDonalds, as well as specialist medical practice leases and purpose-built pharmaceutical premises. Dominic’s notarial work includes the execution of Powers of Attorney and preparation of certificates of good standing for corporations, serving clients with international documentation requirements efficiently and reliably.
