About Brendan
Brendan Marr is a Consultant at MobbsMarr Legal, where he manages the firm’s Family Law and Criminal Law practice areas. With a deep commitment to serving clients across Queensland, Brendan began his legal career completing his traineeship in Ayr before returning to his hometown of Townsville, where he has practised continuously. Brendan has acted in complex family law cases, handling a range of matters including parenting arrangements, property settlements, and divorce applications. His approach is client-focused, ensuring sensitive and effective resolution of family disputes. In addition to family law, Brendan has considerable experience in personal injury law. He has managed complex claims arising from motor vehicle accidents, workers’ compensation, public liability, and medical negligence. Brendan also has acted for court-appointed litigation guardians, advocating for individuals seriously injured and unable to represent themselves. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws from James Cook University and is admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia. Brendan is a member of the Queensland Law Society and the Townsville District Law Association, where he contributes to the professional community. He is also an accredited Family Law Mediator, facilitating constructive dialogue between parties to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. Outside of his legal practice, Brendan enjoys boating, is an enthusiastic supporter of the Cowboys, and pursues amateur fishing. His connection to the local community and passion for the outdoors reinforce his dedication to providing personalised legal services tailored to his clients’ needs.
