George Minas is the principal of the firm, bringing extensive experience and a broad legal background to his leadership role. He graduated from the University of Southampton (UK) in 2000, focusing on maritime law, including admiralty law, carriage of goods by sea, and marine insurance. After working with a shipping law firm in Piraeus, Greece, George moved to Australia where he completed postgraduate studies at the University of Sydney in 2004. George’s career has encompassed a diverse range of roles, including positions with city and suburban law firms, as well as serving as General Counsel for both a media publishing company and a private IT business. This varied experience has provided him with valuable insights across criminal law, bankruptcy, commercial litigation, corporations law, family law, and employment law in both state and federal jurisdictions. He also offers advice on business acquisitions and corporate restructures. As principal, George is committed to building and maintaining strong client relationships.
