Jessica Ragh

Jessica Ragh is a Special Counsel with extensive experience in Family Law, dating back to 2012. She began her career at a reputable family and commercial law firm on the Gold Coast while completing her dual degree in Law and Arts at Griffith University. Jessica graduated with Honours in Law, alongside a Bachelor of Arts majoring in History and Cultural Heritage, in 2012. Following her graduation, Jessica completed her professional legal training at the Queensland University of Technology, earning her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice in 2013. She was subsequently admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland, and is also admitted to practise in the High Court of Australia. Over nearly nine years practising on the Gold Coast and in Brisbane, Jessica developed comprehensive expertise in all facets of Family Law, including financial matters, child support, and parenting arrangements. She further enhanced her qualifications by completing a Masters of Applied Law specialising in Family Law in 2021, achieving the highest grade in her final subject. Jessica has particular experience managing property settlements, including complex and high net worth cases. In 2021, she relocated to Cairns to join Millyard Family Lawyers as a Senior Associate, where she offers thorough and practical legal advice. Jessica is skilled in negotiating settlements and representing clients in Court when necessary. Known for her approachable demeanour and commitment to integrity, Jessica focuses on understanding her clients’ needs and guiding them through the family law process. Her aim is to support clients and their families in reaching outcomes that allow them to move forward with confidence. Jessica is a member of the Queensland Law Society, the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia, and the Family Law Practitioners Association of Queensland. Her professional interests include property settlements, de facto relationships, and spousal maintenance.
